Only high-quality galvanized aluminum is used in the manufacture of STRON oil coolers - it provides sufficient strength, low weight and excellent thermal conductivity. The radiator parts are joined using the same technology as the original products. This is an aluminum radiator brazing process that uses a special flux paste of the same name. The basic steps in oil cooler installation are

1. The engine should be stopped and cooled down. Ensure that the work surface is clean and accessible. If necessary, remove the engine cover or other components to gain access to the heat exchanger and brackets. Drain the coolant.

2. Remove the old radiator - disconnect it from the cooling system by loosening the mounting bolts and removing the hoses. Take care when draining the oil to avoid excessive contamination.

3. Check the new heat exchanger. Check that the new oil cooler matches your vehicle's requirements and equipment. Install connecting hoses and mounting hardware if not supplied. Check that all fittings and bolted connections are tight.

4. Fit the new oil cooler and carefully tighten the fixing bolts. Ensure that the heat exchanger is tight and secure to prevent movement during operation.

5. Connect the hoses: Connect the hoses to the oil cooler and the appropriate connections on the engine and automatic transmission. Ensure that the connections are tight and secure to prevent oil or coolant leakage.

6. Check oil and coolant levels. If the old heat exchanger had broken seals between the oil and coolant circuits, they must be replaced. Check that the oil and coolant levels are within the recommended limits.

7. Test operation: After installing the oil cooler, check for oil leaks. Start the engine and allow it to warm up to ensure that the cooling systems are working properly and the oil is circulating correctly.
