All intercoolers are tested at the factory immediately after production. The parts are tested at pressures several times higher than the working pressure - from 3 to 25 bar, depending on the type of intercooler.

The only raw materials used in the manufacture of the parts are react plastics - a thermoactivated material that does not change shape when exposed to high temperatures. Unlike thermoplastics, they do not go into a plastic state.

There are several features that make the intercooler an effective component of a supercharged engine air cooling system. STRON's intercoolers are made of galvanized aluminum, which ensures strength and low weight. For its intercoolers STRON chooses a special grade of cast aluminum with high sealing and corrosion resistance.

STRON intercoolers are protected against corrosion by special coatings - galvanized aluminum and anti-corrosion paint.

Also, in the production of STRON intercooler radiators are used technologies of original products "Nocolok". This is a soldering process of aluminum radiators, which uses a special flux paste with the same name. The paste contains potassium fluoride, which allows welding of aluminum components without the use of additional joint filling materials.

Thanks to the use of the latest production means, STRON charge air coolers differ from their competitors with higher heat dissipation and increased resistance to vibration and corrosion. Installation of the part does not differ from the installation of original spare parts, and the quality is often better than the original. The probability of STRON intercooler radiator defects is minimal.

The installation of the intercooler radiator (ICR) is an important step in the installation of the supercharger air cooling system.

1. Check access to the intercooler - remove the front bumper if necessary. Ensure the work area is free from contamination and ready for installation of the new radiator.

2. Unpack the purchased intercooler and check its contents. All necessary mounting hardware, hoses and fittings should be present. Check the dimensions to ensure that the parts meet the installation requirements for your vehicle.

3. Disconnect the old intercooler: unscrew the fasteners, the airflow sensor (if fitted) and the connections. 

4. Fit the new intercooler. Connect all hoses and fittings to the correct positions, if necessary, move the air flow sensor from the old intercooler, connect it to the connector and tighten the screws.

5. After installing the intercooler, check all connections. Start the engine and check that the supercharger is working properly: no whistling or noise, the engine runs smoothly and revs quickly when the accelerator is depressed.

6. Tighten all parts. After checking that everything is working properly, make sure that all parts, including the front bumper, are securely fastened and do not pose a safety hazard.

The installation process may vary slightly depending on the intercooler model, but thanks to the premium quality of STRON parts, technicians will have no questions or doubts when installing the ICR.

The intercooler (ICR) helps to cool the charge air before it is fed into the engine's intake system. The structure of the ICR may vary slightly from model to model, but there are basic components that are responsible for the way the intercooler works.

The intercooler consists of a multi-layer plate system penetrated by ducts. It creates a path for the blown air and provides maximum contact area with the cooling air.

The air entering the intercooler radiator travels in parallel streams, passing between the plates and being cooled. The multiple fins of the ICR increase the surface area in contact with the cooling air, allowing heat to be removed more efficiently from the incoming air.

The intercooler is mounted at the front of the vehicle where there is a fresh air flow. It can be attached using special brackets or other mounting systems.

When the engine is running, the turbocharged air heated by the turbocharger enters the intercooler radiator. As it passes through the plate system, it is cooled and flows into the engine's intake system. This reduces air density, increases supercharging efficiency and boosts engine power.

STRON uses state-of-the-art equipment and ISO/TS 16949 standardized manufacturing processes to produce STRON intercoolers. All products are tested at the factory as they leave the assembly line, allowing STRON to be absolutely certain of the quality of its product.

STRON knows its product, therefore all products have an unconditional warranty of 3 years or 80 thousand kilometers. There is also a guarantee of conformity of use, dimensions and fasteners.

In the event of a complaint, STRON will take care of it - the company will provide the end customer with a replacement and reimburse the cost of re-installation.
