International manufacturer of premium quality automotive cooling systems with extended service life

Cabin heater radiators

Cabin heater radiators

STRON is an international manufacturer of high quality and long life automotive parts with factories in three countries; STRON cab heater radiators are manufactured at all STRON production sites.

All radiators are tested at the factory immediately after production. The parts are tested at pressures many times higher than the working pressure - from 3 to 25 bar, depending on the type of cab heater.

Only reactoplastics are used as raw materials in the production of parts - these are thermoactive materials that do not change their shape when exposed to high temperatures and, unlike thermoplastics, do not go into a plastic state.

The core of the radiator is monolithic: special quality cast aluminum is used, which is highly hermetic and resistant to corrosion. Brazing is carried out in an argon environment.

Due to the latest production technologies, the life and warranty of STRON parts are increased. Production processes are highly automated using the latest robots - STRON cab heater radiators have no equals in the "price" - "quality" - "warranty" ratio.

The purpose of cabin heater radiators is to heat the air that enters the cabin and to provide a comfortable temperature for the passengers. Cabin heaters are made of aluminium and copper - both materials have excellent thermal conductivity, which contributes to efficient air heating.

STRON cabin heating radiators are manufactured using the original production technology - "Nocolok". This is a welding process for aluminium radiators using a special flux paste of the same name. The paste contains potassium fluoride, which makes it possible to weld aluminium components without using additional materials to fill the seams.

Thanks to the use of the latest production equipment, STRON cab heater radiators stand out from the competition due to their higher heat output and increased resistance to vibration and rust. The installation of the part does not differ from the installation of original spare parts, and the quality is often better than the original, so the probability of defects is minimal.

The installation of the heater is an important operation that should be left to professionals, especially if you have no experience with the car. Specialists will easily install the STRON heater, which is of the same quality as original spare parts.

There are several important steps and rules to follow when installing the heater:

1. First make sure the engine is cooled down and the car is switched off. Have the necessary tools, goggles and gloves ready.

2. Disconnect the cooling system: Locate the radiator of the engine cooling system and carefully disconnect the hoses that carry liquid from the engine to the cab heater radiator. Seal the hose openings with plugs or other suitable stoppers to prevent fluid leakage.

3. Remove the old cab heater radiator by unscrewing the mounting bolts on the side of the cab frame. Carefully pull the old radiator out of the brackets, taking care not to damage any associated parts.

4. Install the new radiator: slide it into the brackets and screw it on. Make sure the radiator does not dangle or rattle.

5. Connect the hoses: Remove the plugs from the hoses and reconnect the hoses to the appropriate holes on the cab heater radiator. Check that all connections are tight.

6. Check the cab heater cooler for leaks. Start the engine and check that the coolant is circulating through the radiator without leaks and that the cooling system is working properly.

The installation of the passenger compartment heating radiator may vary depending on the car model and construction.

The cab heater radiator is a heat exchanger responsible for heating the air entering the cab. The cab heater plays a key role in ensuring a comfortable temperature inside the car during the cold season.

The design of the cab heater radiator is a set of tubes through which coolant (antifreeze) from the engine cooling system passes. When the engine is running, the coolant circulates through these tubes, heating them and transferring heat to the air entering the passenger compartment through the ventilation system.

The main components of the passenger compartment heater

1. Tubes. The cab heater radiator contains a series of thin metal tubes that form channels for the coolant to pass through. The tubes are usually made of aluminium or brass to ensure good thermal conductivity.

2. Fins. The cab heater radiator has metal ribs along the length of the tubes to increase the surface area of the radiator. The ribs serve to improve the heat transfer process by increasing the contact surface between the coolant and the air.

3. Circulation mechanism. The coolant enters one side of the cab heater radiator and passes through the tubes. During the circulation process, the liquid transfers its heat to the metal tubes and then through the fins to the air passing through the cab.

4. Ventilation. To improve the efficiency of the cab heater's radiator, some models may include a fan. The fan creates forced air circulation through the heater, increasing heat transfer and providing faster heating of the cab air.

5. Related components. The cab heater radiator works in conjunction with other components of the heating system, such as pumps, valves and regulators. All these components work in synchronisation to ensure that the car's heating system works properly.

It is important to select and install a cab heater radiator that meets the requirements and specifications of the vehicle. An incorrectly selected radiator can result in inefficient operation of the heating system or damage to its components. Regular maintenance and correct radiator selection will keep the system working properly and ensure a long service life.

STRON cab heaters are manufactured using the latest equipment and standardised production processes in accordance with ISO/TS 16949. All STRON products are tested at the factory before they leave the production line, giving STRON complete confidence in the quality of its products.

Because STRON knows its product, all products are backed by an unconditional warranty of 3 years or 80,000 kilometers. There is also a guarantee of conformity of use, dimensions and fasteners.

In the event of a complaint, STRON will take care of it - the company will provide the end customer with a replacement and reimburse the cost of re-installation.
