Aluminum prices are rising. There are reasons to believe that the price will not stop there. Aluminum will remain a demanded metal which consumption will continue to grow. It fits well into the green economy, since it is easily recyclable and it is produced using electricity. The demand for aluminum is increasing in transport engineering, construction, power mains, packaging and many other fields.
According to the forecast of the International Aluminium Institute, global aluminum consumption will increase by about 80% by 2050 compared to 2020, and will exceed 170 million tons per year. At the same time, the production of primary aluminum will grow to 90 million tons, while recycling will increase from 31 to 80 million tons per year.
"Rising aluminum prices, like other commodities, affects processing plants by increasing costs and contributing to overall inflation. In particular, this leads to an increase in the cost of aluminum structures, and affects the increase in prices for auto parts for cooling systems. Continuous improvement of business processes and technologies, allowing to increase efficiency and reduce production costs, as well as optimize resources use, allow STRON to offer the market high quality and affordable auto parts, ” the STRON representatives note.
In the manufacture of radiator cores, STRON uses only leakproof and anti-corrosion resistant cast aluminum of special grade, and soldering is carried out in argon medium. STRON is responsible for the quality of its products and provides a maximum warranty — 3 years or 80,000 km.
